Everyone wants the “tactics.”

Few want the part that actually hurts: cold, silence, rejection, loss.

I learned this in kitchens where your hands blistered before sunrise,

and in operating rooms where death sat closer than life.

The Stoics weren’t optimizing to outperform 99% of some anonymous crowd.

They were trying to stay human when everything around them fell apart.

So why are we obsessed with beating strangers instead of becoming whole? ;)
